Cyril Grunspan

Professor Cyril Grunspan was born in Paris in 1971. He studied mathematics at the Lycée Louis-le-Grand and at the Ecole Normale Supérieure.

Author of several articles on bitcoin and is regularly invited to participate in conferences on this topic.

As a mathematician he will work along side IOTA co-founder Serguei Popov, and his main focus will be on the fundamental mathematics of Tangle as well as formulas for a long planned new IXI module on top of IOTA which will greatly extend IOTA’s functionality.

Vassil Dimitrov

Professor Vassil Dimitrov holds a PhD degree in Applied Mathematics from the Mathematical Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in 1995. At the moment he is a Full Professor at the Department of Computer Engineering, University of Calgary, Canada.

His research interests include implementation of encryption algorithms, discrete mathematics, image processing, digital watermarking and related topics.
